Night at the Nature Center: Rooted in Tomorrow

Saturday, October 11 from 5pm-9pm

Join us for our annual cocktail party fundraiser to support environmental education.  You ticket price includes heavy hors d'oeuvres by Greater Good Events, open bar, s'mores bonfire, silent auction, and live music.  Attire is business casual.  Jeans and boots welcome.  We will be outside!

Fox Trot 5K and 1 Mile Bark in the Park

Sunday, October 19, Race Starts at 8am

Get ready for a fantastic 5k and 1 mile walk during peak fall color in Fair Hill.  This year we are partnering with the MD 5 Star at Fair Hill!  Beginning at the famous Crab Jump in the Sawmill area, the 5K course will meander through the cross country jumps and the beautiful forests of Fair Hill.

Tales & Treats

Friday, October 24, 4:30, 5 or 5:30pm

Join us for a magical evening of Trick-or-Treating at the Fair Hill Nature Center. This event is for all ages and abilities. Be sure to dress up in your Halloween costumes! Start in the Nature Center and decorate your Treat-or-Treat bag, then join our educators for a stroll around the Storybook Trail where you will read a Witchy book and collect your treats!

October Guided Hike

Saturday, October 25 from 1-2pm

Join us for a guided hike all about the magic of fall foliage!  Our Environmental Educator will lead you through Fair Hill's trails as we explore why and how leaves change colors this time of year. A perfect way to enjoy the beauty of autumn and learn something new along the way! Great for families, but not stroller friendly.  Hike is approximately one hour. Free for Members. $7.00 for Non-Members. 

2nd Annual Fair Hill Arts Festival

November 15-16

A juried art show to benefit environmental education at the Fair Hill Nature Center.

Gobble Recovery Guided Hike

Walk off your Thanksgiving feast in beautiful Fair Hill. Great for families, but not stroller friendly.  Hike is approximately one hour. Free for Members. $7.00 for Non-Members.
