The Playscape will provide a welcoming gateway to the 5,600 acre State Park, connecting visitors to one of the region's greatest natural assets. Play structures will be inclusive and accessible, made with sustainable materials, and designed to mirror the landscapes of Fair Hill. Read more about our WHY in the Case for Support.

DuPont Fox
This custom climber pays homage to the native Red Fox and the history of Fox Chasing in Fair Hill. Ages 5-12

Hill Slides
Built into the natural landscape, hill slides invites kids to experience the thrill of gravity, while climbing back up the hill strengthens muscles and cardiovascular endurance. Ages 5-12 years and beyond.

The Village
This portion of the playscape will appeal to younger children, encouraging creative play and interpersonal development. Designed to be accessible to all, regardless of physical abilities. Ages 2-5

The Jungle Dome
This climber challenges children to stretch, balance, and explore at their own pace. As they navigate upward, they build strength, coordination and risk-assessment. Ground level elements invite group meetings, encouraging social skills such as turn-taking and negotiation. Ages 5-12

The Bird Nest Swing
Of all the play activities, the Bird Nest Swing is a strong favorite: children love it, and it can be done individually and together. Swinging trains children's agility, balance and coordination in addition to being a great facilitator of rough and tumble play. Ages 2-12

Parkour Course
The variation in climbing, crawling and balancing activities will make children want to come back again and again. This piece stimulates coordination and proprioception, helping kids learn to navigate the world confidently and to achieve physical confidence. Ages 5-12

In an era where children spend an average of 7.5 hours/day on screens, our new Playscape will:
