Fox Trot 5K & 1 Mile Walk sponsored by WL Gore

9:00am race start
Enjoy early bird registration for the 5K or 1 Mile Walk now through July 31. This year's course will start at the Nature Center at wind up through the forest and meadow to the North Appleton lot and back. Running not your thing? Bring you pooch for our 1 Mile Bark in the Park. All participants receive a seedling, courtesy of Bartlett Tree Experts. Winners receive a custom medal and Gorewear.
Farewell to Summer Guided Hike

Summer's winding down — let's soak up the last of it! Explore Fair Hill's trails as the season shifts, spot late-summer wildlife, and enjoy some fresh air before fall settles in.
Free for Members and $7.00 for non-members. Families welcome but not stroller friendly. Hike is approximately one hour (11am-12pm) and meets in front of the Nature Center.
A History of the Fair Hill Nature Center Property

Join us on a walking tour that includes a centuries-old stone barn and the beautiful house built for the appearance of antiquity on the footprint of the original farm home. Presenters Emily Kilby and Mark Barczewski have spent years researching the fascinating history of the 100 plus farmsteads, groundbreaking beef operation, and historic mills in Fair Hill.
Free for members. $7 for non-members.

Tales and Treats

4-7pm
Join us for a magical evening of trick-or-treating at Fair Hill Nature Center! Stop by anytime between 4-7pm on Friday, October 30 to stroll our half mile story trail - costumes encouraged - and collect candy along the way (please bring your own bag). Afterward, head inside for a spooky craft. All ages and abilities welcome! Adults do not need to register.
$5 per child ages 2 and up.
Adults and children under 2 are free.
