Volunteer

Founded in 1990, Fair Hill Nature Center has made tremendous impact on the thousands of public school students that visit each year. The core of our work lies in the continuous passion and dedication of our community of volunteers. Please join us by supporting these efforts through the following volunteer opportunities.

Building & Grounds Maintenance

On the first Saturday of each month, we get together to clean the building, organize the barn, and tend the grounds. 9:00am - 12:00pm

Open House Manager

We plan to start opening to the public on Saturdays in the Spring of 2023 from 10:00am - 2:00pm. Our weekend greeter would open the Nature Center, hand out guides, answer questions and close the building.

Special Events Volunteer

Throughout the year we have several family friendly events designed to connect our community to nature. Duties could include: parking attendant, registration, set up / clean up, craft table, selling merchandise, etc.
