Summer Day Camp 2001

Times:

Camps are held from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m.
(except Fair Hill Friends from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m.)

Fees:

Members - $55 - Nonmembers - $65 per week (unless noted)
Full payment is due at registration. A full refund is available up to two weeks before the program. Classes may be canceled due to insufficient enrollment; you will be notified one week in advance. Limited number of scholarships available.


Week #1

June 18-22
A. Summer Critters
Ages 5-7
Explore our introduction to Fair Hill through age appropriate games, crafts, hikes. New activities each year.

B. The Bay Starts Here!
Ages 8-13
Discover the Chesapeake Bay watershed through hikes, games, and hands-on activities along its tributaries. On Friday, campers will take a special extended day field trip to board the skipjack Martha Lewis and explore the headwaters of the Chesapeake Bay.

$70 members/$80 nonmembers

 

C. Fair Hill Friends
Ages 3-4
Bring an adult friend to share Fair Hill's natural wonders

$30 members/$35 nonmembers

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
9:15 to 11:15 a.m.

Ages 5-7

B. Craft Camp
Ages 7-11
Create fun projects using natural materials mixed with other media. New activities each year.

June 26 - 30
A. Summer Critters
Ages 5-7
Same as Week #1

B. Into The Woods
Ages 8-10
Investigate nature through crafts, games and hikes. earn a Junior Ranger patch.


Week #4

July 17-21
A. Imagination Camp
Ages 6-7
Discover nature's wonders through stories, exploration and imagination play.

B. Best of Waterworks
Ages 8-11
Experiment with water, investigate adaptations of aquatic animals, build a model boat and more!


Week #5

July 23-27
A. Summer Critters
Ages 5-7
Same as Week #1

B. Hike an Build
Ages 8-11
Explore Fair Hill and build fun projects to take home.
