2005 SpringFest Agenda
1/12/05 -- results
1. Committees
- Volunteers – each committee leader needs to establish
number of volunteers needed for their piece of the event. Cathryn Harjung to
coordinate?
- 5K – Marathon Sports to manage – Erlene, Del
and Cindy
- Crafters/vendors – Ilene Milburn
- Vendor Fees – will remain the same as last year
a flat $50 per table or $25 with donation of a raffle item worth $25 or
more.
- Music – (Contact: Delaware Rag, Nine Eye, I’m
Not Sally, Conowingo Homeboys, Sin City) Cindy to line up bands and schedules
- Signs – each committee needs to let us know how
many signs they need for their area of expertise.
- Sandwhich board signs
- Velcro letters for banners to be hung on iron bridge over 273 (to change
dates from year to year)
- Line up three price quotes for costs of banner signs

- Food – Call Betty Moore to see if Museum folks are
interested in doing food sales again this year
- No vendor fee in exchange for 10 percent of profits
- Hay Ride – Milburn Orchards – scheduled
- Pony/Carriage rides – booked for May 21 (Fair Hill
Stables)
- Children’s activities – Holly
- Site clean up crew (recycling stations) – Put ad
in Buzz for volunteer to head this up
- Plant Sales – Mario and Hinda
- Silent Auction – Ralph to provide volunteer workers,
Cindy to solicit donations
- Moon Bounce (2) – Ace Hardware – call to reserve – possibly
one free, one rental - -Dan Schneckenberger to contact owner of store
- Trails to Treasure Hike
