Nature Center programs are great for nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts of all ages, families and organizations such as Scout groups. Family memberships and organization memberships are available for $30. Scout groups and other youth organizations over 12 members are $50.

Fall Trail Day

Saturday September 12, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

It is time to prepare our trails for the splendor of fall!

As you know, our summer weather has been turbulent to say the least. Due to the heavy winds and rain our trails are in need of a lot of work.

Your time is greatly appreciated

Lunch will be provided at noon

Please bring rakes, wheelbarrows and gloves (label all your belongings)

Please email or call 410-398-4909 if you are planning to attend so we have enough food!

Trail day

S.W.A.T. Road Cleanup

Saturday September 19, 8:00-9:30 am

Do your part to help clean up our roadsides by joining Nature Center staff and board members for its quarterly trash pickup day along our adopted highway, a 2 mile section of Rt. 273. We will meet at Wesley's parking lot at 8 a.m. All materials provided by the Nature Center.

Must be 12 years or older.

Home School Day

Tuesday October 6, 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

A Bug’s Life Ages 5 - 7
Students will learn about the parts of an insect and explore the field, the forest and the streams to find insects in their habitats.
Forestree Ages 8 - 12
TREES!!!! Students will learn all about our wonderful trees. We will learn how they function and why they are so important to the environment. We will learn to identify some of the more common trees in Fair Hill.

Program fee for all programs is $6
Please wear good hiking shoes (please no sandals).

Please drive slowly through the race horse facility.

Fall Leaf Walk & Craft

Saturday October 17, 10:00 am - 11:30 am


Hike with our Nature Center teachers along our nature trails to identify native trees in their fall glory.  Finish up with leaf printing, either on a T-shirt or sweatshirt you bring or on our art paper or bandanas! 

Pre-registration required.

Members Free/Non-members $5.00

Hayride

Saturday October 23, 6:30 pm

Come enjoy a colorful ride through scenic Fair Hill.  We will start at the Nature Center and end at the Pavilion for a bon fire with Hot Chocolate, Hot Dogs and Marshmallows.
