TRAIL MAINTENANCE DAY

Saturday, March 20 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Make some new friends while cleaning and trimming our trails and sprucing up the grounds around the Nature Center. If you know someone connected to a Scout troop, Indian Guide tribe, school volunteer group, or individual who is interested in short term community service projects, Trails Day is a great opportunity. Spread the word! Lunch will be served to all volunteers. The work is interesting and you’ll feel good that you helped a great program. Give the Nature Center a call if you’re planning to help – they will need a rough count for meals.

Lunch will be served to all volunteers.

Call (410) 398-4909 if you can help.

FROG FRENZY (and bonfire snack)

Friday, April 16, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Why do frogs sing in the spring? Learn about our local amphibian friends and take an early evening walk to hear the “froggy chorus” in the wetlands. Afterwards, you’ll be welcomed by a bonfire and refreshments. Recommended for children age 4 and older. Bring a flashlight and a curious child or grandchild!

Free to members, $3.00 for nonmembers.

Call (410) 398-4909 for information.

WILDFLOWER WALK
